This month has some of the most anticipated releases of the year! I'm super excited for all of these. They are all parts of series, though, so if you haven't started any of the series listed, this might not be for you. I'll list them up here so you know whether this post will be useful to you or not.

  1. The Last Hours trilogy by Cassandra Clare

  2. Crave series by Tracy Wolff

  3. Blood Heir trilogy by Amelie Wen Zhao

  4. Fable duology by Adrienne Young

  5. King of Scars duology by Leigh Bardugo

Chain of Iron by Cassandra Clare

March 2, 2021

Chain of Iron is the latest book in the Shadowhunters world, which if you're familiar with it, has over 10 books to its name. I know so many people who are so eagerly waiting for this book, as Cassandra Clare has racked up millions of fans worldwide. I won't go into details about it because it may spoil the first book if you haven't read that one. If you are a fan of the Shadowhunters world, I'm excited for you to see what Cassie Clare has in store for you guys in this one!

Covet by Tracy Wolff

March 2, 2021

Covet is the latest installment in the Crave series. Again, I won't say much as to not spoil the first couple of books, but this series involves lots of vampires and romance. Not like Twilight though, don't worry. This is the third book, and there will a fourth book called Court coming out. I'm not entirely sure if there will be any more books after that, but at least we can be excited about this one for now!

Red Tigress by Amelie Wen Zhao

March 2, 2o21

Red Tigress is the sequel to one of the bestselling books of 2019, Blood Heir. Blood Heir was Zhao's debut book, and it was insanely good, especially for a debut. I'm very much looking forward to reading this next one. Blood Heir deals with epic empires, magic relating to blood, and conspiracy plots. Sounds cool, right? It is! I would definitely encourage everyone to go read the first book in this trilogy right now, before this second one comes out.

Namesake by Adrienne Young

March 16, 2021

Namesake is the second and last book in the Fable duology. I haven't read Fable myself, but I've heard great things about it. It deals with pirates, loss, parental abandonment, and very cool action scenes. I definitely want to read this as soon as I can, because pirate books are always top tier and I haven't read enough of them. I hope you guys will consider picking it up as well!

Rule Of Wolves by Leigh Bardugo

March 30, 2021

Rule of Wolves is the second and last book in the King of Scars duology. King of Scars is a spin-off of the Shadow and Bone trilogy, focusing specifically on Nikolai and Zoya (two of my favorite characters from S&B). I read the first one and loved it, so this is absolutely the one I'm most excited for. Nikolai is literally one of my favorite characters of all time, and we get so much insight into who he really is in King of Scars. Not to mention the absolutely GORGEOUS cover. I wish it was 3D. But anyway, I hope you'll join me in reading this book. I do recommend reading the S&B trilogy first, though, if you haven't already.

So, I know this post was a little different than what we're used to since it was completely series-oriented, but I hope it still helped those of you who have read these series. And for those who haven't, I hope you found a new series to binge!

All love,

Alekhya <3
